Welcome to Art
Every student will have art for 45 minutes once a week. Your child will keep a portfolio of all their work for each of the 4 grading periods. At the end of each 9 weeks, I will send your child's work home unless it is on display at school.
If you would like to volunteer in the art room, especially in kindergarten and first grade, please sign up with your homeroom teacher. The art room's supplies are funded by the PTA. I need addtional items: paper towels, kleenexes or spray cleaner.
In art, each student will learn how to correctly use art materials. The students will learn the elements of art, art appreciation and art history relating to each project.
